Dr. Vrinda Dar is the current General Secretary of the Kautilya Society and is acting manager for the next
two years. She is fluent in Italian, English, French and Hindi. For those who wish to make

introduces them into the spirit of India so that the true dignity of the culture and its
people are comunicated. She also organizes logistical and technical support, interpreters

Obviously, most people are vacation travellers. We would
also like to reach you so your experience of Varanasi is as authentic and enrichening as
possible. We are organized to do this through our special hospitality. The Kautilya
Society has its headquarters in Ram Bhavan, a house architected in a traditional style,
situated along the the banks of the Ganges in the heart of ancient Banaras. Lodging is
available for members who wish to enjoy the warmth and protection of our family-style
environment, as well as the good and reliable meals of our personally-trained cook.
