When arriving to Ram Bhavan from the city side, you will get a taste of the local life while walking through the narrow lanes typical of the old city. The Taxi or rickshaw can take you as far as Dashasvamedh Ghat; then enter the old Market of Bengali Tola and ask directions to Vrindajee's house at any milk or tea shop. Otherwise See map for directions to Ram Bhawan (a 243 kb map will open in another window)
| If you want to arrive to Ram Bhavan from the river, ask the boatman to take you to Darabhanga Ghat and walk up the steps to the right of the Palace. We are just behind it. If you are alone, ask the boatman to help you carry your luggage for fifty rupees more. If you are in a group send somebody up to fetch Dada, our doorman, to help you. |
